by car:

- From A1 highway: exit in Arezzo, keep towards the town for 8 km. At the first redlight, turn right towards Bibbiena, on route SS71. After 4 km you will see signs towards Anghiari: turn right and take route SP43 Libbia. After a 7 km drive, once on the hill pass, turn left following the sings towards Il Castellaccio for about 1 km.

- From E45 freeway: exit in Sansepolcro; follow signs to Anghiari and, once on the top of the town hill, follow the signs towards Arezzo keeping on SP43 Libbia; Once on the hill pass, turn on ur right following signs to “Il Castellacio” for about one km.

by train + bus:

- By Local trains, Intercity, Eurocity, Eurostar, from Rome, Florence and the other main Italian cities to Arezzo railway station;

- From Arezzo railway station by bus (check the SITA timetable) on the route to Città di Castello (VIA LIBBIA) up to La Scheggia pass bus-stop. From the pass a shuttle service (to be booked) is available to reach Il Castellaccio.
